When you request an estimate or visit with Miller Freeman & Sons (Nottingham) Ltd. to carry out work within your home or business, your name, address, phone number, email address, details of home equipment that carry gas, water or oil, tenant name, phone number, address and email will be stored in our gas engineer software that includes on our computers, tablets and engineer smart phone apps. Information on gas engineer mobile applications are restricted to only information relevant to certain jobs.

Persons collecting this information are office managers and directors within the Miller Freeman company network.
Persons using this information are office managers, directors and gas/oil engineers and plumbers that are directly employed by Miller Freeman.
How We Collect Information
The way in which we collect this data is by incoming phone calls, emails and in text messages asking us to undertake certain services that can be provided by Miller Freeman. We will never solicit for work by cold calling.
Why We Collect This Information
At Miller Freeman, we always want to keep you and your appliances up to date for warranty, guarantee and safety purposes. Because of this, we keep dates of servicing and installation so that you don’t miss these important deadlines by sending notifications and reminders when alerted.
Engineers use your information to carry out the works requested by way of smart app controlled software.
Once work has been completed, this information is used to generate invoices to the
Correct person, for invoices to be posted or emailed and in some cases printed and posted. This also allows us to accept and track payments.

Who We Share Data With
Whilst Miller Freeman will never share or sell your information to marketing companies or third parties, the nature of our business means that we have to send some information to manufacturers of products we sell and install to verify warranties, guaranties and successful completion of installation as well as legal obligations to inform local authorities of where efficiently rated appliances are installed, this data includes, but not restricted to, name, address, email, phone number, make and model of appliances.
Your data will be stored within accountancy software for the purpose of processing payments and end of year tax processing.
If paying by debit or credit card over the phone, we use your name, address, email and phone number for added security as the card will be attached to this information. A third party supplier does this. When we input your information and it is classed as a successful transaction, we then delete the confirmation from our software so this cannot be used again.
At Miller Freeman, our biggest assets are you, and because of this we will ask you to help improve our service and customer commitment by leaving reviews on certain sites. This will require us to inform them of your name, phone number, email address and a brief job description.
